Biometric Information Retention & Destruction Policy

Purpose
Biometric processing in the automated verification flow is used only for liveness detection and 1:1 comparison of the live person with the photograph on the government-issued identity document presented for age verification.
Consent
Automated biometric processing begins only after the member receives the verification disclosure and affirmatively chooses to continue.
Storage by this service
Idaho Furry Fry Basket does not intentionally download or persist biometric templates, facial geometry, selfies, liveness recordings, or government ID photographs from the automated verification.
Retention and destruction
The operational retention period is only as long as necessary to complete the verification transaction and securely record the minimum 18+ authorization result. After processing the result, the system is designed to instruct Didit to delete the provider session. Failed verification sessions are also scheduled for deletion.
No sale or unrelated use
Biometric information is not sold, leased, traded, used for advertising, member profiling, emotional inference, or general moderation surveillance by this service.
In-person verification
In-person verification does not use automated biometric processing. The administrator visually inspects the ID and person and records only an 18+ authorization record; the bot does not accept an uploaded ID image.
